An accountability record, not an accusation engine
StayDenied exists so that a traveller's documented experience does not disappear when a property changes its name, brand, operator or listing.
What we do
- Collect structured, first-person reports about lodging reservations.
- Store supporting evidence privately and access it only with authorisation.
- Maintain property records anchored to a physical address, with the names, brands, owners, operators and statuses that address has carried over time.
- Cite public sources and let anyone request a correction.
- Give property owners and operators a direct channel to respond.
What we do not do
- Publish accusations, verdicts or legal conclusions about any business.
- Run campaigns against a brand, chain, franchisor or booking channel.
- Sell, rent or trade consumer evidence or contact details.
- Publish a report publicly without the reporter's explicit consent.
- Provide legal advice or represent anyone in a dispute.
Neutrality principles
- The address is the record; the brand name is an attribute of it over time.
- Evidence confidence is stated explicitly and never overstated.
- Every party named in a record can dispute and correct it.
- Counts and statistics come from stored data or are not shown at all.

Data minimisation
We ask only for what a reviewer needs to assess a case. Payment card numbers are never collected — only the payment method type.
